Changes

There is a change to the dutylist for the HMP Concert but it's only one. Shu Mei will be doing video in the control room now instead of photo.

BTW: We are settling Cross Country duty during CCA this friday! Sec 2s and 3s, u can pray that your seniors don't take up all the duty slots. Sec 1s, in case u all don't know, you all gotta run (or walk :P) since this is your first year here in NY. Heh heh, Sec 4s will be given priority for this particular duty. It has always been our tradition : )

About the video competition that mui suan was telling us about during the very short cca on fri, more info can be found on www.panasonic.com.sg/kwn/ .yup. you are highly encourage to join this competition as it is not so often you get a video competition. since it s a competition for age 10-15, so the sec1-3s can form groups of 5 and take part!XD

Photo Competition by Straits Times

there is a competition organised by The Straits Times for amateur photographers and photo enthusiasts. Professional photographers are not allowed to take part. Participants just have to post their snapshots of the heartland which suits each week’s theme, together with a short caption for the photo. Participants stand to win a Nikon Coolpix S500 digital camera worth $560 each. One of the seven lucky winners will also be the Grand Prize winner of a Nikon D40 digital SLR camera kit worth $1110!All the winners will have their photos published in a two-page spread in The Sunday Times on Aug 26. there is a request for 2 people to be on lights for the theater club production mercury. mr kuo says that most preferbly, he wants sec 3s to do the production. if you are interested, please inform me. it will be fun and you get more exposure to lights, so hope there are volunteers! :)
